New Year, New building, New Learning!
There has been some fantastic new learning taking place in the first weeks of the new year here at HPAMA.
Whether it has been taking part in partner work during effective maths teaching, learning about manners and eating as part of our family service experience at lunchtimes, learning through the story of "The Tiger who Came to Tea!" or learning through our exciting and ever developing outdoor learning environment, the children of Mayflower have been excited, engaged and successful.
Parents, governors, Harris federation staff, Thurrock education staff, local councillors and our fabulous Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred and Harris Primary Academy Mayflower staff have all played a key part in the life of the academy on its new site in the first few weeks of the year. Farrans staff, who are building our new school directly behind our current site have alos been and spoken with our pupils, so that they know what is happening each and every week.
The curriculum at Harris Primary Academy Mayflower is engaging and inspiring and these pictures show a little of the fun, communication and curriculum experiences which have allowed our children to make such amazing progress in our first year.
