Year 5 had a fantastic experience, learning about all things Science when the ‘Science Boffins’ visited Mayflower last week. The Gardening Club have been busy at the allotment ensuring everything is prepped & ready for the upcoming warmer months. he Gardening Club have two new beds - Bee Team and Fruit Force. These teams are so enthusiastic for their new projects. Family Learning Morning

We held a fantastic Family Learning Morning at Mayflower today and we had a huge number of parents coming into the academy to work with their children.

 

Parents expressed pleasure at how much their children were learning and how enthused they were about coming to school.

 

"My son hates the holidays now and loves the curriculum at Mayflower!" a happy parent told Mr Britt. The parents love reading the learning profiles and talking to their children about their progress and learning.

 

Ms Hanley said: "Parental engagement is as outstanding here at Mayflower as pupil engagement. I am really pleased with what we are all achieviing!"
