The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Watching the Grass Grow!!

It has been an exciting week in Harris Primary Academy Mayflower.

 

In Literacy, the children have climbed up a beanstalk, with some children tasted the clouds as they went through them. The best reports said that the clouds tasted like marshmallows and bubblegum.

Then the children wrote cards to their families to tell them all about it. They have also planted grass seeds in their classrooms and are going to measure how much it grows in a day using the measuring tapes and rulers.
