The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

    If you go down to the woods today....

    This week, Year 2 enjoyed a well-deserved trip to Thorndon Park, to embark on a trail. The trail was made with popular characters from the Gruffalo Childs book. Upon arrival, the children were so excited to get on to the coaches and we’re asking every 5mins if we had arrived. When we got there, we were met by amazing and experienced park rangers who were able to take the children along the trail, educate them about nature and play games with the children. The children had so much fun and some even asked if they could sleep over!
