Diwali

This week in Year 4, we recognised the Hindu festival of light: Diwali. Children across the cohort shared how they actually celebrate this annual festival in their own homes; through decorating their homes with diva lamps, exchanging beautiful gifts and spending time with family and friends having special meals. In class, we created our own celebratory silhouette pictures, showing how fireworks are used to accentuate and enhance the Festival of Lights.
