Identity Boxes in Reception

Identity Boxes in Reception This week in Reception, there has been much excitement as the children have returned to school bringing in their identity boxes that they created over half term. Each child that brings in a box is given the opportunity to share and talk about the contents of the box to their peers, explaining why the different items and photos are important to them. Talking to their peers about their box is a fantastic experience for a child as it helps to develop their self-esteem and see themselves as an individual within the class. On the 19th November, there will be an identity exhibition in school, where the identity boxes will be displayed.
