The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Year 2 Scientists

Superb Scientists in Year 2 We have had an extremely exciting week in Year 2! The children have been learning all about everyday materials and their properties looking at materials such as fabric, cardboard, plastic, foil and even clingfilm. The children used their skills and knowledge to create boats that float. They were required to carefully plan and think about the types of materials they were going to use before constructing and testing their boats.
