Harris Mayflower awarded Diversity Award!

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded our first Diversity Mark (bronze level). This is in recognition of the work our academy has done to develop an ethos and curriculum that values diversity and builds respect and tolerance.

The presentation was made by Chafford Ward Councillor Sue MacPherson on Monday 27th March at 10am.  Mrs Carrington and Miss Hanley spoke about the pride in our Academy around diversity and the fact that together our families speak over 26 languages in addition to speaking English.

Mrs Carrington and the team are already working on us achieving silver and finally gold level!
