Lovely Lunchtimes At Mayflower!

Lunchtimes in Mayflower are a very sociable time!

We now operate a Family Service at lunchtimes for all pupils. Children arrive in the dining room to soft music and sit down to tables that are set up as though they are dining in a restaurant with table cloths, vases of flowers, bread and other salad items that are able to help themselves to.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the teachers and adults supporting the children at lunchtimes to talk with the children about their morning and it is lovely to see the children really developing their speaking and listening skills by taking turns in conversation.
