Pupil Board Summer Fundraiser!

Last week, Year 6 representatives of the Harris Mayflower Pupil Board led a fundraising activity. They decided what they wanted to do to raise money and they organised the event – and their timing was perfect! In typical UK fashion, the sun decided to make an appearance last week, so the children thought about what our pupils and families would really like on days like this – ice creams! Members of the Pupil Board visited a local store, loaded their baskets, scanned the items and purchased a range of ice creams and lollies.

They loaded up the school freezer, whilst somehow managing to resist the temptation of the delicious treats, and prepared their own ice cream stall.

Thank you so much to everyone who visited the stall and for your contributions - we really appreciate the support! The children were proud that their efforts raised £245 and are already planning to organise another next ice cream sale in the coming weeks!
