The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Chinese New Year

Happy New Year to all of our families celebrating Chinese New Year. This week, the children were also celebrating the year of the Rabbit, with each of our year groups completing different Chinese New Year activities in their classes. This was a great opportunity for our year groups learning Mandarin to learn more about the culture behind the language, and feedback from the children has been extremely positive.
