The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Read, Write, Inc Model School Status!

We are delighted that we have been awarded the Ruth Miskin Read, Write, Inc. Model School Status for the fourth year running! Model School Status is awarded to schools and academies where outstanding teaching of phonics takes place and the school achieves outstanding outcomes for pupils. A huge well done to Mrs Morrison, Miss English, Miss Griggs and our Read, Write Inc Team!
