Sporting Update!

The past two weeks have been extremely busy for our netball and football teams as we competed against our sister academy, Harris Primary Chafford Hundred and other Thurrock Schools. The netball team put in an excellent display in their first ever competitive netball match. We lost the game 6-0 but never gave up and Ben walked away with the ‘Player of the Match’ award as chosen by the opposing team.

Next, it was the turn of our football team who had to face Harris Primary Chafford Hundred. All of the boys displayed fantastic skill, organisation and discipline throughout and were rewarded with a 3:1 won, with goals coming from Joseph, Osamede and Ben.

We bounced back from our first defeat to pick up our first win of the netball season as we beat Benyon 9-0! The children worked tirelessly as they continued to put pressure on their opponents. Every player managed to score at least one point for the team and Shanee was rewarded with player of the match as chosen by the Benyon team. Keep up the good work everyone!
