The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

International Week 2019

International Week

What a wonderful week was had across the Academy, learning about different countries from around the world. The culture and history of the countries was discovered through, flags being created, masks made, traditional clothing discussed, food tasted and so much more. The week was completed with a wonderful parade in the playground of all the classes dressed in National clothing or colours of the flag.
