The "bear" necessities!

Mayflower children had a lesson in the "bear" necessities at the build-a-bear workshop at Lakeside as part of the celebration of learning for their "Once Upon a Time" topic. The children got to see all the steps in building a bear and shared some bear stories they had learnt at home and at school throughout the unit this term.

Each class now has a new "bear" friend that will be spending weekends with the children and have fantastic adventures with them.

The children returned to school and were able to take home the lovely sweet green grass that they planted for the Billy Goats Gruff. The children had a fantastic time planting, watering and watching the grass grow.

The staff can’t wait to see your space outfits on the first day back as we launch our new topic.

The children were beautifully behaved and had a truly wonderful visit. Thanks to Build-a-Bear and everyone involved.
