Lura Leads the way!
We are very proud of one of our brave pupils, Lura who has recently been awarded with the ‘Mayoral Roll of Honour’ as a symbol of appreciation for assisting her father, by communicating with emergency demonstration maturity, calmness and resourcefulness beyond her years.
Lura has been inspired by the award and paramedic, who came and helped her on the day of an incident in the home where her baby brother had a seizure and was unresponsive. As a result Lura was determined to do something for the community, in particular to the ambulance and paramedics as a way of saying thank you for saving her brother’s life.
Lura is willing to start fundraising for St John Ambulance First Aid Training Grays. In order to donate and giving back to society, giving her contribution for people who wants to get trained and help others in difficult day and save more lives.
