The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Animal Experience Day

On Friday the children in Nursery and Reception were very excited to have a visit from Rocky's Animals and the opportunity to feed and hold a number of animals across the day. Rocky provided each class with the time to ask questions about the animals and a highlight of the day was holding the snake!

Rocky brought with him:

Sheep, Goat, Chicken/chicks, Duck/ducklings, Turkey, Rabbit, Hamster, Guinea Pig, African Pygmy Hedgehog, Horsefield Tortoise, Royal Python, Corn Snake, Crested Gecko, Leopard Gecko, White Tree Frog, Bearded Dragon, Fire Salamander, Scorpion, Tarantula, Curly Haired Spider, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Domino Cockroaches, Giant Millipedes and Giant Land Snails.
