The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Year 3 Visit the Tate Modern

This week in Year 3, children were given the opportunity to observe art at the Tate Modern. Children were able to draw upon their knowledge of different mediums to identify different types of art whilst at the gallery. After being able to observe and interpret art from famous artists, children used what they had learned and applied these skills in their own drawings. The children showed great manners and responsibility while out of school.
