The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Anti-Bullying Week

This week we have celebrated Anti-bullying week with a range of effective activities. Children began the week by working in groups to create freeze-frames of what a bullying incident may look like and how this can be resolved. We also created comic strips that outlined a short story of how a bullying incident may start and various solutions. Children can now confidently talk about why we use our Core Value of Community to ensure we are creating a happy and safe community.
