Our Community Library

We are delighted to have opened our first ever Mayflower Community library. Continuing our love of reading at Mayflower we want to give everyone the opportunity to read as many fantastic books as they can. The idea for the Mayflower ‘book swap’ is that if you are able to donate a book, you can then swap this for another. Please ensure that if you are taking a book that it is returned to the library once you have read this, this can then be swapped with another. The book swap is located next to the EYFS gate in the main playground.

This was an idea of one of our aspiring readers, our Library monitor will ensure that the books are topped up regularly. In aid of World book day, we would like to decorate the Mayflower Community Library, the children will be asked in their class to think of some fantastic ideas or stories to inspire the decoration of the book swap.
