Pilot visit in Reception

This week in reception the children have been reading the book, ‘Where Do Jet Planes Sleep at Night?’ by Brianna Caplan Sayres. The pupils have taken part in a variety of different activities including writing about planes, comparing aeroplanes from the past and the present and designing and making their own plane from lolly sticks. On Wednesday the children were extremely excited to have a visit from a Pilot. They were extremely interested in all the different pictures, clothing, and objects that he brought in for them to look at. They asked lots of different questions and gained so much knowledge. The Reception staff would like to say a massive thank you to Ed for giving up his time to come and talk to the Reception, it was such a valuable experience for the children.
