Anti-Bullying Week 2021
Anti-Bullying Week
Anti-Bullying week here at Mayflower took place between 15th-19th November. The children watched an assembly and wore odd socks to celebrate the week. They also took part in in-class sessions and discussed the meaning of the word 'bullying' and how to identify it. In some classes, example scenarios were presented, and the children had to say whether they thought it was bullying or someone being unkind.
Work on anti-bullying should not end at the end of Anti-Bullying Week. We will continue to work hard educating our children on bullying and our core values through PSHCE and class sessions so that they know and understand what bullying is and why it has no place in the world.
