Christmas Giving 2020
Christmas Giving Following on from our wonderful experiences from the last couple of years of gift giving within the Mayflower community, we will again be collecting donations of food over the next two weeks. We will have boxes in the under cover area outside of Reception for donations to be placed in. We will then make up hampers and distribute them to identified families within our school community.
Non-perishable items such as Mince Pies, tinned puddings and fruit, custard powder, jelly, gravy powder, tinned vegetables such as peas, carrots, corn, crisps, chocolates, juice, Christmas crackers, mint jelly, cranberry sauce etc. Any items that you can think of that will help to brighten up Christmas for a family will be much appreciated! This year, due to the current situation, we are also seeking donations of general non-perishable food items such as pasta, pasta sauce, breakfast cereal, long life milk, biscuits, toiletries etc.
Please place your Christmas food items in the boxes provided.
This has been a very challenging year for everyone in our community, but an even more challenging one for some of our families and we would very much like to share our Mayflower Core Value of Community where we know it is really needed.
