The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Remembrance Day

On Thursday 11th November, our academy observed a two minute silence at 11am and created poppy window displays in each classroom. Mrs Morrison led our Teams assembly and told the story of ‘Where the Poppies Now Grow’ which was well received by our pupils.
