The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

World Book Day 2020

World Book Day 2020

On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day across our academy which started with our Family Reading Session and then moved on to our Family Learning session in class. It was great to see all our children dressed as their favourite characters and to see so much reading happening everywhere. Reading is at the heart of our academy and we certainly look forward to World Book Day every year.
