The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

Thank you to our PTA

Reading Challenge Books

 

Our pupils will soon be bringing home a ‘Reading Challenge’ book. Each year group will have a set of 10 different texts to read by the end of the year and our amazing PTA have donated £1000 towards buying these.

Our PTA chair Stella said ‘The PTA, with our strong Mayflower community spirit, are very pleased to be able to contribute towards the purchasing of these amazing books, which will benefit every child within our Academy.’ A huge thank you to our PTA and to our families for supporting the events.
