Life at Harris Primary Academy Mayflower

Life at Harris Primary Academy Mayflower was launched in September 2014 when we opened on the temporary site of our sister academy, Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred.

 

These images come from the first month of being open and reflect how exciting and varied the range of learning activities undertaken have been. 

 

Our staff report that the children have settled extremely well and that they love independent learning time. All the children have chosen books to share at home and we have been delighted with the support parents have given, reading daily with their children and taking time to come and talk with our Early Years staff team and to forge a real partnership between school and home.
