Harris Sports Day Success 2019

Harris Sports Day 2019
Words cannot express how proud of our Year 4’s we are after our trip to our first ever Harris Sports day yesterday. Our Year 4 pupils were incredible supporters, creating banners and cheering on the competitors. The competitors were amazing and were not fazed at all by the huge crowds and noise. We won 2 gold medals (70m and Chest Push) and 3 silver (Vortex boys and girls and Standing Triple Jump). We came 2nd across the federation for Year 4 boys overall, winning a trophy. Two pupils also came second in the boys and girls relay so would have competed in the final. Due to the events overrunning (due to the weather) this will now be judged through the original timings. Two more medals could be coming home to Mayflower!
